Caixa reúne 59 discos gravados por Cash na Columbia entre 1958 e 1985

Nas lojas dos Estados Unidos a partir de 30 de outubro de 2012, a caixa Johnny Cash - The Complete Columbia Album Collection embala toda a obra fonográfica do cantor e compositor norte-americano Johnny Cash (1932 -2003) na Columbia Records. A caixa totaliza 61 títulos em 63 CDs entre compilações e álbuns (uma coletânea e um álbum são duplos). Foram encaixotados todos os 59 álbuns gravados por Cash na Columbia entre 1958 e 1985, sendo que dois foram lançados após a saída do artista da gravadora em 1986. Dos 59 títulos, 35 vão ser lançados pela primeira vez nos EUA no formato de CD. A coleção inclui discos ao vivo raros no mercado norte-americano como Johnny Cash Pa Osteraker (1973 - álbum gravado em 1972 para o mercado europeu em show do artista em penitenciária sueca), Straberry Cake (1976 - disco gravado em 1975 em apresentação de Cash no Palladium, em Londres) e Koncert V Praze - In Prague Live (1983 - álbum gravado em Praga em 1978 e nunca incorporado oficialmente à discografia norte-americana de Cash). Eis todos os 61 títulos da Johnny Cash - The Complete Columbia Album Collection, caixa que inclui libreto com ensaio sobre o artista - escrito pelo pesquisador musical Rich Kienzle - e que não será lançada no Brasil pela Sony Music:
